chains and pendants

Unless otherwise specified, your pendant will not come with a chain. I want you to be able to decide how to pair your pendant with a chain to give you a more customizable piece of jewelry to wear. You will select a chain. Items sold as "necklaces" include hand-made chains. 

Handmade chains require a large time investment on the part of the craftsperson, so they are considerably more expensive, but they are made in a unique way and are more carefully inspected. If you want something unique and special, you should purchase a handmade chain. Machine made chains are cheaper, and if you are more interested in showing off a pendant but care less about the chain, and want to save a bit of money, they are the way to go.  

If you are interested in a strong chain to pair with your silver pendant that will survive everyday use, and do not want to spend a lot of money, I do offer machine-made stainless steel chains in several styles and sizes. I do not recommend stainless steel chains for gold pieces, but if you desire I can thread a gold pendant on any chain you desire.
